Except for Same Sex Marriage, Equal Protection for homosexuals and certain issues as they relate to healthcare. Both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are way too Statist for me, its really the economy and Foreign Policy, where President Obama has clear edges over Governor Romney and why I'll probably. Be voting for the President, unless he polls away with the election electorally, then I'll. Be voting for Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party, the President gets reelected and I get to vote for the person I prefer out of these three, someone whose much more Liberal on Social Issues. And someone who I kinda like when it comes to reforming the Federal Government, that sends more power back to the States and people, without gutting the Safety Net. I believe President Obama is a solid Liberal on Economic Policy where we tend to agree, not an FDR Progressive but more. Like a JFk Liberal, which is where I am on Economic Policy and he's a Liberal Internationalist on Foreign Policy, uses the military only when we can win what the conflict that might be there. And only when its the best option, unlike Mitt Romney with the Neoconservatives he's been hanging around, where I believe the Military would generally if not always be the first option.
But trying to tell the difference between Governor Romney and President Obama on some of these Civil Liberty and Social Freedom issues. The Patriot Act, Indefinite Detention, War on Drugs, perhaps Online Gambling even, its like trying to tell the difference between Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum. On the same issues, you know one's suppose to be a Conservative Republican and the other a Liberal Democrat and yet they are both Statist on these issues and you would also think, at. Least I would, that one being a Republican and the other a Democrat, that there would be some serious differences, to give voters who care about these issues but haven't made up their mind yet in. Who to vote for but they are both in favor of the War on Drugs, no change there and that includes Medical Marijuana, the Patriot Act and Indefinite Detention, which gives voters less issues. To make up their mind about and probably makes the election closer.
